‘’Beginning of the Late Heavy Bombardment’’:

The beginning of the Late Heavy Bombardment (or lunar cataclysm) relate to an hypothesized event occurring during the Neo Hadean and Archean Eon of the geologic records of early Earth’s existence. This event relates to an era where a large number of asteroids heavily bombarded and radically transformed the crust of multiple celestial bodies of our solar system. This dramatic event produced some of the most significant craters and characteristic scars on our planet’s crust. The painting presents us the portraiture of a woman exhibiting the notions of vulnerability and scars mirrored to the steady force of a textured mountain wall. Here is exploited the question of the relation between burden and strength.

 Le terme ‘’Beginning of the Late Heavy Bombardment’’(ou cataclysme lunaire) est lié à un événement hypothétique se produisant au cours de la période géologique primitive de la Terre ''néo-Haden''. Cet événement se rapporte à une époque où un grand nombre d'astéroïdes ont lourdement bombardé et transformé radicalement la croûte de plusieurs corps célestes de notre système solaire. Cet événement dramatique a produit certains des cratères les plus importants et des cicatrices caractéristiques de la croûte de notre planète. Le tableau nous présente le portrait d'une femme suggérant certaines notions de vulnérabilité et de cicatrices juxtaposé à la force imbramlabe d'une chaine de montagne texturé. L’oeuvre ''Beginning of the Late Heavy Bombardment’’ exploite, aux travers de couleurs thermiquement contrastées, la question de la relation entre la charge et la force.
